Rite in the Rain Tactical Field Book

Your Field Notes Don’t Get a Weather Delay.

The Rite in the Rain Tactical Field Book is built for recording the details that matter when your desk is a tailgate, ruck, range bench, or whatever relatively flat surface you can find. Loaded with 160 pages of all-weather paper, it keeps notes usable through rain, mud, sweat, and the general abuse that comes with actually carrying a notebook in the field.

The flexible Field-Flex cover conforms easily to pockets and packs without staying permanently mangled, while the heavy-duty perfect binding uses weatherproof glue for durability in rough conditions. Inside, the Universal page pattern gives you a versatile layout for notes, sketches, diagrams, coordinates, and field data, with perforated pages when something needs to be removed or handed off.

Where the Tactical Field Book really earns its name is the built-in reference material. You get 16 tactical reference pages, plus imperial and metric rulers, conversion information, map scales, common symbols, and mapping resources. A title page and table of contents help keep longer-term notes organized.

At 4.625" x 7.25", it's compact enough for your kit without being so tiny that writing in it becomes an exercise in patience.

Why We Love It

This isn't just weatherproof paper bound into a book. The built-in rulers, map scales, conversion info, and tactical references make it genuinely useful as a field tool, while the flexible cover makes it easier to actually carry. Toss it in an admin pouch or pack and let it get beat up—that's literally the assignment.
